With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, Sumaya Wicomb is a visionary production designer.
Based in Cape Town, she prides herself on delivering the director’s vision by honouring the brief with her team of passionate artists. Sumaya views every set as a character, designed to complement actor performances and enhance the storytelling. With two awards and one nomination for Best Production Design under her belt, Sumaya is driven by a commitment to creating award-winning films. Her motto, ‘Let’s make an award-winning film, guys,’ reflects her enthusiasm and dedication to each project.
